Description

Our authentic Fairly Traded Organic African Black Soap is handcrafted in Ghana by the Akoma Cooperative using a centuries-old traditional process. This soap is certified Fairtrade and Organic — a rare combination that ensures both ethical sourcing and pure, natural ingredients.

Made from just three powerful botanicals — raw shea butter, virgin coconut oil, and cocoa pod ash — this soap gently cleanses, nourishes, and balances the skin. With a creamy lather and naturally fresh scent, it leaves your skin feeling clean, soft, and restored — without stripping moisture.

How to use this

Face + Body Cleanser:
Wet your skin and rub the bar between your hands or on a washcloth to create a rich lather. Massage gently into skin and rinse. For deeper cleansing, leave lather on for 1–2 minutes before rinsing.

Makeup Remover:
Apply lather directly to face — including waterproof makeup — and rinse clean.

Gentle Exfoliation:
Use 2–3 times a week to remove dead skin and reveal a smoother, more radiant complexion.

Shaving:
Lather the soap and apply to skin as a natural shaving cream alternative. Suitable for both men and women.

Hair + Scalp:
Lather in your hands and massage into scalp. Rinse thoroughly and follow with a natural conditioner or apple cider vinegar rinse.

For sensitive skin limit use to 2-3 times a week.
